ADODI Southern Region 15th Annual Winter Wellness Summit Comes To Jacksonville!

During Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday Weekend, the ADODI SOUTHERN REGION will host the FIFTEENTH ANNUAL WINTER WELLNESS SUBMIT in Jacksonville, FL.

The retreat theme is "Rooted in Wellness: Mind, Body, and Soul". During Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday Weekend, the ADODI SOUTHERN REGION will host the FIFTEENTH ANNUAL WINTER WELLNESS SUMMIT in Jacksonville, FL."

It will include empowerment affirmation sessions, workshops, talent sharing, and fellowship.

The Adodi Southern Region comprises the 16 Southern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. The District of Columbia is also included.

An updated ASR Logo Use Guidelines.PDF 32-pg guidebook explaining the details of branding and its importance for beginners was released to THE ASR WINTER RETREAT 2024 PLANNING COMMITTEE FIRST FOR REVIEW BEFORE IT BECAME AVAILABLE ON NOVEMBER, 2023 ON THE ASR FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE ONLY. WRITTEN REQUEST FOR ASSETS MUST BE EMAILED TO THE DESIGNER.

Having a basic knowledge of branding will help educate our ASR members on the logo's proper use when advertising, designing, or promoting events, etc., to the public and internally to our members, along with maintaining professional consistency across social, digital platforms and printed materials that will be appreciated and memorable to future members and organizations that wish to join or support ASR further into the fut ure.

BIO: Ado Grey "Greylin" Jones was elected as the Ado National Facilitator, and ASR is excited to welcome him.

He is a native of Lafayette, LA. yet raised in the DFW area of North Texas. As a licensed NYC sightseeing guide, Ado Jones has created and conducted resilience and resistance.

Currently, he is the brainchild and coordinator of Uhuru Days, a Prospect Park exhibit and 17-day holiday season highlighting the freedoms of formerly enslaved Africans between the dates of Juneteenth and July 5th (New York State Emancipation Day).
